Patient Care Technician

As a Patient Care Technician you will have a wide variety of responsibilities of great importance in the direct treatment and care for patients. Patient Care Technicians often have the most amount of direct contact with the patients due to their wide range of abilities and the knowledge of the foundations in patient care. At Florida Health Care Academy, we provide our students with hands-on training in our facilities and classroom lectures provided by industry experts, focused on ensuring the success of all of our students.

After the completion of the program all students are required to take the certification exam with the National Healthcareer Association that will certify you nationally as a Certified Patient Care Technician.

In our course, you will be fully trained to work in the healthcare field as a Patient Care technician, you will be prepared for employment with skills in electrocardiography, phlebotomy, home health aide, nursing assistant, and many more.

All applicants must be 17 years of age. (if the applicant is under 18 years ale, the student Enrolment Agreement must be approved and signed for her/his Parent or Guardian)

Payment plans

Here at Florida Health Care Academy we offer a variety of payment options in order to best accommodate to your financial needs. All of our payment plans are tailored to each individual, whether you prefer paying bi-weekly, or every Monday, we'll find a way to help you make your dreams come true.

This program requires a $400 down payment at the moment of enrollment.

*All payments are based on an average payment. The amount could fluctuate depending on the balance of each student.
Weekly Payments
You choose your payment day. Whether you prefer paying each Monday, or if Fridays are more convenient for you we'll accommodate to you!

The rate for our PCT program is 18 payments of $194*
Bi-weekly Payments
We understand there are some businesses in which you get paid bi-weekly, or if it simply suits your economy better we'll work it out for you!

The bi-weekly rate for our PCT program is 8 payments of $388*
Montly Payments
The Patient Care Technician is our longest and most complete program. Because of this we also offer monthly payments! Just pay at the beginning of every month and you're set to continue with your education!

The rate for our PCT program is 5 payments of $699*
