Welcome to the FHCA EKG program! We're excited to introduce you to the fascinating world of Electrocardiography (EKG) at our healthcare academy.

Our programs are short and fast-paced and accredited by the Commission for Independent Education, the Florida Board of Nursing, and the National Health Career Association. All of our programs are also taught by certified instructors with experience in the field, and all certifications, both state and national, are done in-house, so they don't have to go anywhere else to take them.

About the EKG program at FHCA
This program aims to teach the student the necessary knowledge and Clinical training as an Electrocardiograph Aide, EKG Technician, Cardiovascular Technologist, and Technician, and an overview of human anatomy and physiology emphasizing cardiac and vascular systems. The students will be prepared to take the national certification exam for CET (Certified EKG Technician).

The Electrocardiograph Aide program includes:
- Notepad and pencil
- Uniform
- Guide books
- Lab supplies
- HIV 4 hour certification
Duration of the EKG program
Our EKG program typically takes 4 weeks for classes from Monday through Friday, with class hours from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
Saturday classes extend the program to 9 weeks, with class hours from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Requirements for the EKG program in Orlando
- Educational Background: A High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Age Requirement: Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
- Prerequisites: Valid Photo ID and deposit at the moment of enrollment.
Certified EKG Technician (CET)
The students who successfully accomplish this course will be prepared to take the national certification exam for Certified EKG Technician (CET).

Here at Florida Healthcare Academy, we offer various payment options to accommodate your financial needs. All of our payment plans are tailored to each individual. Whether you prefer paying bi-weekly or every Monday, we'll find a way to help you make your dreams come true.
This program requires a $200 down payment at the moment of enrollment.
Deposit: The deposit for our phlebotomy program is $200, due at the moment of enrollment
Weekly Payments: You choose your payment day. Whether you prefer paying each Monday or if Fridays are more convenient, we'll accommodate you!
- Monday-Friday: The rate for our EKG program is 5 payments of $110
- Saturdays: The rate for our EKG program is 10 payments of $55
Bi-weekly Payments: We understand there are some businesses in which you get paid bi-weekly, or if it simply suits your economy better, we'll work it out for you!
- Monday-Friday: The bi-weekly rate for our EKG program is 2 payments of $275
- Saturdays: The bi-weekly rate for our EKG program is 5 payments of $110
Special Financing: If none of our payment plans work for you and you require special financing, don't worry. We'll help you out. Come into our office and speak to one of our representatives about our financial aid options for the phlebotomy program!
All payments are based on an average payment. The amount could fluctuate depending on the balance of each student.
