Our Electrocardiograph Aide (EKG) Program at a Glance
The EKG program equips you with the knowledge, skills, and hands-on training to become a certified EKG Technician. Youâll learn to operate electrocardiograph machines, interpret heart rhythms, and recognize abnormalities. Upon completion, youâll be qualified to work as an electrocardiograph aide, EKG technician, or monitor technician, playing a critical role in cardiac care.

Program Duration
4-week Monday through Friday schedule or 9-week Saturday-only schedule.
Tuition Includes
Classroom instruction, notepad & pencil, uniform, guidebooks, lab supplies, and the HIV 4-hour certification. The EKG certification exam must be purchased separately for $129 and it can be taken at our facility.
Patient Care
Educate patients about the EKG process, provide support and reassurance, and explain the importance of heart health.
Equipment Calibration
Regularly calibrate EKG equipment to ensure precise readings, optimal performance, and patient safety.
Clinical Skills
Ensure accurate electrode placement, perform EKG tests, monitor heart activity, and communicate results effectively.
Mornings
Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
Afternoons
Monday through Friday from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
Evenings
Monday through Friday from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
Saturdays
Every Saturday from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Certified EKG Technician (CET) Exam
Weâll Help You Get Certified!
Upon graduation, you will be eligible to take the EKG Technician (CET) certification exam. The exam fee is $129 in addition to the cost of the course and can be taken at our approved facility.
