Phlebotomy Program Cost

Top 5 Reasons to Consider a Certificate Program

The phlebotomy program at Florida Healthcare Academy prepares you for a career in phlebotomy in just a few short weeks. Most people who are seeking information on phlebotomy programs want to know how much they will have to pay. Our current phlebotomy program cost is $790.

When You Cannot Afford the Phlebotomy Program Cost

We understand that it can be difficult to pay for a program. We work with many students who are unable to afford our programs. We sit down with them to help them figure out a payment plan that fits into their budget.

Many of our students make either 5 payments of $118 or 10 payments of $59. We can offer week or bi-weekly payments.

Special financing is available for those who qualify. We have a few different financial aid options to help people with the payments. Many people finish up their payments after they are already working in the industry.

Do not worry if you have bad credit. We often work with students to help them if they have made financial mistakes in the past. This is your chance to make some changes in your life to better it, including your financial situation. Phlebotomists can earn a great income depending on where they work.

Special Consideration

We do require a $200 down payment at the point of enrollment. If you are unable to afford this cost, it might be in your interest to wait and save the money. You may also be able to borrow the money from someone you know well, such as a family member or good friend. This investment is one for your future, so many people wouldn’t have a problem helping.

What Is Included

With the cost of the phlebotomy program, you will receive books, notepad, pencil, uniform, HIV 4 hour certification, and lab supplies. Some of the cost also goes towards paying for the teacher’s knowledge and skills, as he or she teaches you how to work as a phlebotomist.

The only thing you will have to pay for is gas to get to our facility. We often see students carpool to save on that expense. This is something we let our students come together on and decide together.

The phlebotomy program at Florida Healthcare Academy is for individuals 17 years or older. The program provides 150 theoretical and practical hours in a classroom, and then 20 hours of externship. All of these hours are spread across 6 weeks. Everything you need is at our facility. We have the equipment, teachers and facilities to prepare you to be a professional, skilled phlebotomist.
