FHCA Time Management

One common excuse for not seeking a continuing education, or making the switch to embark upon a medical career, is a lack of time. Keep reading to learn about the advantages of FHCA Time Management.

“It would be nice, but I just don’t have the time to go to classes.”

“I wish I could, but my job keeps me so busy.”

“It sounds amazing, but I need to keep working and making money.”

If any of these three statements define your life, then FHCA Orlando has the answer for you. Our distance learning Phlebotomy program gives you the opportunity to work at your own pace, establish your own schedule and exert some much needed control over your life.

But even in a distance learning environment, a student has to commit to the time needed to master their chosen medical craft. Many could still balk at the time commitment needed for such an excursion. There are a number of time management skills one could employ to make the time necessary to commit to distance learning.

FHCA Time Management

  1. Use Your DVR: We often say that we have no time, but we spend hours in the evening pouring over our favorite television shows. Digital Video Recording is a marvelous tool, as are On Demand streaming services. Save your TV watching for the weekend, and binge it all in one sitting. This opens up several hours during the week where you can partake in classes.
  2. Utilize your Weekends: The weekend (or whatever day you might have off) presents an excellent opportunity to get a ton of coursework done. If you wanted to spend your work week working and then relaxing when you come home, block off a chunk of time during the weekend to dive into your distance courses.
  3. Turn Of Your Phone: We live in a distracted society. Smart Phones, Social Media, and a plethora of entertainment options often lead to a divided focus. When it’s time to do your coursework, unplug from all electronic distractions and zero in on what you’re doing.
  4. Make a Schedule: Plan out your day. Don’t leave anything up in the air. Have a schedule and stick to it. Ensure that you have the ability to meet your deadlines and still have time to stop and smell the roses.

FHCA Time Management is an important step toward taking control of your life. With proper use of your time, utilizing FHCA Orlando’s new distance learning program you could excel in a new and exciting career within the medical world!
