FHCA Helping People

Florida Health Care Academy (FHCA) has been helping people fulfill their dreams of working in the medical field since 2003. Since we were established, we’ve evolved along with the healthcare industry. With this evolvement, we’ve had to change and add to our programs to provide individuals and their families the knowledge and skills needed to prepare them for a long, rewarding life as a medical professional.

FHCA Helping People

In the last few months, we’ve been working on a website makeover. We know most of the people interested in pursuing work in the medical field will research first online. For this reason, we want our website to be a source for that information. Through the knowledge we provide on our website, we hope many people see how lucrative and advantageous pursuing work in healthcare truly is for them.

As we approach the launch of our website’s makeover, we will continue to deliver information about our programs on our existing site. We’ll add to the blog, and feature some of our newest offerings on social media. Be sure to stay in touch with us by bookmarking the blog and following us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

Expected Growth for FHCA

As we evolve our website to provide what people in Orlando want from the Internet, we will also be adding more healthcare-related programs. By offering a variety of courses, our students will be able to choose the path that’s perfect for them. This means they can ensure they receive the knowledge and skills that will benefit them the most as they seek employment in the medical industry.

Recently, we added Patient Care Technician (PCT). This course runs for 18 weeks and teaches students the theory and practice of the profession. Upon completion, students will be fully trained and certified as a PCT. This prepares them to easily find employment in many health settings.

As many of you know, the medical field has a low unemployment rate, and as more of the population grows older, there will be an increased need for medical professionals. This is one of the many benefits of seeking a career in healthcare.
Currently, we offer programs in Patient Care, Home Health, Phlebotomy, Nursing Assisting, and Electrocardiograph. You can learn more about these programs by reading the Services page and then clicking on the “Find Out More” button for each program.
